Winnisquam, located in Sanbornton, Belknap County, New Hampshire, is an ideal dive site for advanced divers in the United States. This expansive lake spans approximately 10.5 miles in length by 1.5 miles in width and boasts an impressive shoreline stretching approximately 28.2 miles. Within Winnisquam, divers can explore five captivating islands, namely Pot, Three, Hog, Loon, and Mohawk.

Designated as a trout and salmon lake by the state, Winnisquam offers a remarkable underwater ecosystem. During the summer season, divers can expect to encounter salmon and lake trout residing between 20 and 40 feet below the thermocline. With a maximum depth reaching 18 meters and visibility averaging around 6 meters, divers are granted the opportunity to explore the intriguing depths of Winnisquam's pristine waters.
