During autumn, divers at this Swiss dive site can expect great visibility and an impressive underwater world. In the winter, the site is particularly suitable for ice diving. The Silsersee is located at an elevation of 1,797 meters above sea level, offering a unique diving experience. Access to the dive site is convenient as it is directly at the parking lot, with entrance via stairs located at the end of the parking area.
Divers exploring the Silsersee can encounter a variety of fish species including brook and lake trout, char, grayling, rudd, roach, minnow, and tench. At a depth of 6-7 meters, divers can also discover a unique underwater feature known as the "perde coach". With a maximum depth of 11 meters, this dive site caters to both beginners and advanced divers.
