Nemo Base
Just 200 meters to the left, you'll find the entrance gate to the famous "Palace". While the gate is usually open and accessible, it's important to note that it may be temporarily postponed but never closed. Once inside the "Palace", you'll be greeted by the friendly staff who will provide you with the necessary information for diving. Please be aware that there is a diving fee of 10 PLN per car for divers, and 20 PLN for non-divers.
As you dive into the crystal-clear waters, you'll be delighted by the fascinating underwater world that awaits you. With a maximum depth of 9 meters and a visibility of 2 meters, you'll have the opportunity to encounter the elusive Lake Monitor, as well as the breathtaking "desert" below. Keep an eye out for the abundance of small perches and fences that adorn the platforms, creating a truly mesmerizing sight. If you're lucky enough to dive at night, you may even encounter fascinating crayfish and eels.
Before your arrival, it is recommended to contact the Nemo Diving Center for information and to ensure access to the "Private Closed" area. The dive center primarily provides air with Nitrox, although availability may be limited. Weekend enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the base is open on Saturdays and Sundays. While the area is not yet fully developed, it exudes an irresistible charm and tranquility, attracting only a small number of divers and virtually no sunbathers. Dive at ease with two convenient platforms for equipment setup, a gentle descent, and multiple training platforms to refine your skills. However, it's crucial to exercise good buoyancy control and carry a flashlight to avoid compromising visibility for yourself and others.
