Mermaid Cove

Mermaid Cove, located in Oman's Khawr Yenkit, is just a short 15-minute journey from our Dive Centre in Muscat. This dive site boasts a sandy bottom ranging from 2 to 5 meters, making it an ideal location for beginner divers to experience try dives and courses. On the right side of the bay, divers will be delighted by a breathtaking coral garden that extends from 2 meters down to a depth of 14 meters. For those seeking greater depths, there is an impressive drop off outside the bay, plunging down to 23 meters.

At Mermaid Cove, divers of all levels, from beginners to experts, will have a fantastic time exploring the underwater wonders. This dive site is home to a resident school of yellowtail barracudas, offering divers an awe-inspiring sight. Additionally, the area boasts a wide variety of morays and during the winter months, it becomes a hot spot for nudybranches.

With a maximum depth of 16 meters and visibility reaching up to 9 meters, Mermaid Cove provides divers with a clear view of the magnificent marine life that calls this dive site home.
