The Marietta Dal is a captivating shipwreck off Brisbane, Australia. This 7500-tonne liberty ship, built in the USA in 1944, sank on May 15, 1950, while carrying a diverse cargo including sulphur, oil, tractors, and other general goods. Now resting in depths ranging from 10 to 18 meters, the Marietta Dal offers an intriguing diving experience.

Divers will discover a scattering of wreckage spread over a wide area of Smith Rock. The main section of the wreck showcases a fascinating jumble of twisted plates, beams, and the elongated prop shaft.
