Lochmara

Lochmara, located in New Zealand, is an ideal dive site for beginners with a maximum depth of 10m and a visibility of 4m. The area boasts a local reef conservation project that focuses on regenerating kelp, along with an underwater observatory offering a captivating view of Inner Sound's diverse fish species. While taking surface intervals, divers can explore the Lochmara Lodge bush and wildlife conservation project.

This dive site is home to a variety of fish species, including Leather Jackets, Carpet Sharks, Blue Cod, Stingray, Mullet, Crayfish, and Blennies. Keep an eye out for the resident conger eel, which can often be found lurking beneath a rock resembling a table!
