Le Sec des Belges

In 1972, a marine science research station called Stareso was established by the University of Liège at Cap de la Revellata. This prime location offers scientists the opportunity to conduct research "with their feet in the water" thanks to the exceptionally pure waters of Corsica.

Divers visiting this site will be treated to a captivating underwater landscape. The area showcases a collection of submerged pitons and rocky drifts that gradually descend from the surface to a depth of 20-30 meters. The most thrilling section awaits between 0 and 12 meters.

For those planning a dive here, it's recommended to leave your jewelry behind as barracudas are a common sight. Additionally, keep an eye out for octopuses that like to take refuge in crevices approximately 2-3 meters below the surface.

With a visibility of 19 meters and a maximum depth of 17 meters, this dive site is suitable for divers of all levels, from beginners to advanced. Located near Phare de La Revellata, D 81b, Calvi, Haute-Corse, Corsica, Metropolitan France, 20260, France, this underwater paradise is easily accessible to visitors.

Experience the beauty and underwater wonders of this dive site in the water, just off the coast of France's Corsican shores.
