Kreidesee Hemmoor - Einstieg 5

Explore the captivating underwater world at our dive site in Germany. As you enter from the left, you'll be greeted by a stunning steep wall that extends to the lake's bottom, reaching a depth of approximately 55m. Descend a bit further, around 35m, and you'll encounter a unique sight - a dense congregation of slender trees known as the "male forest." To the right of the entrance lies the former fish farm, which has been open for diving since 2021.

In the upper area of the site, you'll find flourishing algae and a diverse range of aquatic life. Keep an eye out for perch, rudd, trout, and even the occasional eel. The site also provides opportunities to spot crabs scuttling about.

With a visibility of 13m and a maximum depth of 23m, this dive site is suitable for both beginner and advanced divers. Whether you're just starting out or have years of experience, you'll be enchanted by the wonders that lie beneath the surface.
