Kuroshima Dive Site is situated in the southwestern part of Ishigaki Island, Japan, just a 30-minute boat ride away. With a maximum depth of 17 meters and excellent visibility of 22 meters, this dive site is perfect for beginners. The main attraction of Kuroshima is the stunning coral reef fish, especially the vibrant school of yellow-flanked fish, creating an awe-inspiring spectacle of fish shadows. Predatory fish, like large groupers, are also commonly spotted here, taking advantage of the abundant prey. Along the sandy sections, divers can also encounter fascinating garden eels.
