Kabukhta Dive Site

The dive site is situated on the protected northern shore of Lake Teletskoye, to the right of Yaylyu village in Altai Republic, Siberian Federal District, Russia. Access to the site is exclusive to boats, and a special permit from the Altai Nature Reserve is mandatory. The site boasts a magnificent underwater wall reaching heights of up to 50 meters.

Divers exploring the depths of this site will be rewarded with sightings of various fish species including taimen, Teletsky grayling, Uksuch (lenok), Teletsky whitefish, perch, burbot, and pike. The area is also home to the common beaver among other fascinating mammals.

This dive spot is suitable for both beginners and experienced divers, as the gradual increase in depth near the shore ensures a gentle transition. The visibility in the water is approximately 18 meters, and divers can descend to a maximum depth of 14 meters.
