Joe’s Place Marina & Resort

Welcome to our dive site located in beautiful Lakeview Estates, Mico, Medina County, Texas, United States. This underwater paradise is perfect for divers of all levels, including beginners. We provide a range of amenities to enhance your diving experience.

Our dive site offers camping and RV sites, allowing you to stay close to the action. Our office building is conveniently located right next to the designated scuba area, making it easy for you to access the water. Additionally, we have a Party Room available for rent, perfect for hosting gatherings and celebrations. To inquire about rates and availability, please call us at 830-612-3775.

When it comes to exploring the underwater world, you'll be amazed at the variety of fish you'll encounter. In the lake, you can find catfish, perch, bluegill, crappie, and various other species commonly found in Texas lakes. Keep an eye out for the thermocline, which sits at around 40 feet all year, adding an interesting dynamic to your dives.

Our dive site features a designated Scuba Diver area complete with picnic tables and trees providing shade for divers. You can choose between Beach and Boat Ramp entry points, giving you flexibility in how you start your dive. For student classes, we have two platforms at different depths, enabling a safe and controlled learning environment. As you explore the dive area, you'll come across a captivating wall. One side of the wall still retains the "rails" that were once used by mining cars, a remnant of the area's history. When lake levels are low, you can even spot a set of "steps" above water. You'll also find toilets and sinks in our concrete building, with showers available in the RV area. Please note that pets and weapons are not allowed on our premises.

With a maximum depth of 12 meters and visibility reaching up to 3 meters, our dive site promises exciting underwater adventures for divers of all levels. Come and explore the wonders that lie beneath the surface at our dive site in Lakeview Estates, Texas, United States.
