As you descend, you'll be greeted by a school of Seabreams, seemingly guiding you to their territory. Once at the bottom, you'll be delighted to discover a stunning main rock just 15.5 meters in front of you. The rock floor is adorned with soft corals, gorgonians, and an array of fish hiding among the corals or peacefully sleeping. The rock itself is pockmarked with holes and cracks, each displaying a thriving ecosystem. Here, you'll encounter Forkbeard fish, Octopuses, Moray eels, and a variety of sponges, anemones, and algae. The vibrant sea stars in different colors add to the vibrancy of this underwater paradise. Keep an eye out for the fascinating nudibranchs - a treat for photography enthusiasts.
The best time to explore this dive site is between April and September, although some species can be spotted year-round. As you follow the common course, you'll have the opportunity to observe Cuttlefish, Pipefish, white Seabream, and various species of soft and hard corals, all mingling with shoals of fish. If you pay close attention, you may even catch a glimpse of the disguised Zeus Faber. Be aware that rounding the rock on the right-hand side will lead you to a large sandy area, where hidden Flounders, Stingrays, and other fascinating creatures dwell.
As your dive comes to an end, you'll be amazed to find the faithful Seabreams escorting you part of the way back to the surface. Keep your camera at the ready to capture these memorable moments. With a visibility of around 7 meters and a maximum depth of 17 meters, this dive site is suitable for beginners, offering an enriching experience for divers of all skill levels.
