Haustein Steina

This former granite quarry dive site, located in Germany, offers an excellent experience for beginner divers. The rock platform just behind the entrance sits at a depth of 5m, making it an ideal spot for diving exercises. As you explore further, you'll come across the wreck of the former Elbe ferry "Mühlberg" at a depth of 20m.

Underwater, you'll encounter a diverse range of aquatic life, including pike, zander, big carp, perch, tench, and even sterlets in the depths of approximately 20m. With a visibility of 5m and a maximum depth of 15m, this dive site provides a comfortable environment for both beginners and advanced divers.

Conveniently, the base building is located directly at the Hausteinsee, ensuring a short distance from the water. Here, you'll find excellent facilities including a lounge with snacks and a bar, a training room, showers, separate male and female restrooms, and an equipment rental with 20 available pieces. Additionally, there are camping sites for caravans and campers, a children's playground, a barbecue area, and bungalows available for rental and changing.
