El Gran Cañón

This stunning dive site is exclusive to our dive center, Rincon del Mar. Situated in a pristine coral area, it offers a unique diving experience with greater depths compared to other dive sites. The coral formations begin at 20 meters deep and descend into cliffs reaching depths of up to 40 meters, creating captivating canyons.

Divers can encounter a diverse range of marine life in this area, including candlefish, surgeonfish, angel fish, queen angel fish, lionfish, butterflyfish, moray eels, snappers, groupers, and an abundance of reef minnows.

For optimal appreciation of the coral structures, it is recommended to dive to a maximum depth of 23 meters (75ft). Following the correct route, divers will come across a remarkable "buried island" located 17 meters below the surface.

With excellent visibility of 16 meters and a maximum depth of 24 meters, this dive site offers an ideal location for advanced divers. Located in Colombia, it is conveniently accessible to divers from within the country or nearby locations.
