El Dado

Located on the northwest face of the Galapagos Island of Pucusana, this dive site is easily accessible. It is just a 25-minute boat ride from Santa Maria and a quick 10-minute journey from the Pucusana pier. Due to its direct exposure to the open sea, divers will need to enter and descend quickly from the boat. This site is only recommended for advanced divers.

The bottom of the site is adorned with various types of algae, offering a diverse and colorful underwater landscape. With a mix of sandy and rocky terrain, including a rocky wall, the average depth here is around 24 meters.

Visibility at this dive site is exceptional, reaching up to an impressive 50 meters. The maximum depth is slightly shallower at 22 meters.
