Formerly a thriving spawning ground for benthic sharks, this dive site unfortunately no longer hosts these magnificent creatures due to human impact. Despite this, the site still retains its name and provides divers with an enriching underwater experience. Featuring a sandy bottom, the inner segment of the site offers a more sheltered environment where divers can marvel at the diverse marine life that inhabits the strait's walls.

Divers exploring this location can expect to encounter typical Caribbean fish species, but caution must be exercised to avoid contact with scorpionfish and sea urchins, which inhabit the area.

Situated in Portugal, this dive site offers a visibility of 12 meters and reaches a maximum depth of 14 meters.
