Situated off the captivating Cape Kouroupas, to the west of Naxos, the wreck rests at a depth of 34 meters. Identified as the Beaufighter TF.X serial JM225 from No.47 Squadron RAF, it was involved in a daring mission attacking enemy ships in Naxos Harbor on October 30, 1943. Rescued by locals, they were later clandestinely escorted off the island. Now, the aircraft rests on its belly, adorned by the wonders of the underwater world.
