Blue Cave

The dive will commence at a depth of 25m, where divers will have the opportunity to explore a stunning pinnacle abundant with marine life. Positioned behind this pinnacle is the entrance to the breathtaking blue cave, which can be found at a depth of 4m. Upon entering the cave, divers will ascend to observe the impressive hall, which is teeming with bats.

Following the exploration of the cave, divers will then descend to a shallower depth. As they exit the cave, they will be enchanted by the mesmerizing blue effect created by the reflection of light, hence the cave's name.

During the journey towards the cave, there is a chance to encounter the graceful flying fish. The pinnacle, located near the cave entrance, is a habitat for the magnificent slipper lobster, which is frequently spotted. Inside the cave, an array of colorful sponges, dotted sea slugs, and soft sponges await exploration with the aid of torchlight. It is common to spot scorpionfish perched on the rocks, as well as various species of fish.

This enticing dive site, situated in Greece, offers a maximum depth of 21m and boasts a visibility of 18m. Due to the complexity of the dive, it is recommended for advanced divers. The dive site is located near Κ. Πόρου, Municipal Unit of Ellomenos, Δήμος Λευκάδας, Lefkada Regional Unit, Ioanian Islands, Peloponnese, Western Greece and the Ionian, 310 82, Greece.
