Auesee

Wesel Auesee, located on Auedamm, is a fantastic dive site for divers of all levels. This picturesque lake offers both day and annual tickets for a fee. Depending on the water level, the maximum depth of the lake is approximately 10m, providing plenty of underwater exploration opportunities.

Originally a gravel pit, Wesel Auesee has been transformed into a beautiful recreational area. Access to the lake is convenient through a slipway, although it's important to keep an eye out for boats and give them priority.

The bottom of the lake is predominantly muddy, with stoneworts being the primary bottom growth. While diving here, you can expect to encounter various species of fish, including perch, pike, eel, and with a bit of luck, even carp, catfish, or sturgeon.
