Peel Island's East side features a picturesque fringing reef, ideal for diving enthusiasts. While occasional currents may be present, the abundant coral bommies offer convenient shelter. This captivating dive site showcases vibrant purple soft coral colonies and impressive barrel sponges. Schooling fish can be observed year-round, creating a delightful underwater experience suitable for all divers. With generally good visibility, this location allows for extended dives due to its relatively shallow depths. However, caution is advised as intermittent currents can make navigating the channel a bit challenging. A recommended dive spot for beginners and advanced divers alike.
