Abu Ghusun (Wreck)

The dive site is conveniently situated approximately 70km south of Marsa Alam in Egypt's Red Sea Governorate. It offers a shallow and easily accessible dive experience, ranging from 5m to 25m in depth. Divers can reach the shipwreck, resting at a depth of 16m / 17m, by simply traversing the sandy bottom from the shore. This dive is particularly suitable for both beginner and advanced divers. However, during rough conditions, visibility may not be optimal.

Exploring this underwater marvel, divers can expect encounters with an array of captivating marine life. The sandy bottom serves as a habitat for magnificent blue spotted rays, intriguing crocodile fish, and an abundance of stunning soft and hard corals. Additionally, the possibility of encountering graceful sea turtles further enhances the appeal of this dive site.
